An exciting, brand new Development Officer role has become available at a leading organisation in the Birmingham area offering a permanent position, hybrid working and a range of benefits.

Birmingham area/ hybrid
Monday to Friday/ 35 hours
As a Development Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
- To Provide administrative support to the head of Development and keep internal records up to date
- Create and process all purchase orders and deal with any queries
- Set up and attend monthly cashflow meetings
- Set up monthly meetings, producing agendas/ taking notes etc
- Draft press articles for approval
- Deal with social media platforms and press related releases
- Arrange signing of contracts and maintain contract register
- Manage defect queries and produce scheme out turn reports
- Provide support during audits
To be successful as a Development Officer, you will need experience in:
- Working within a development department
- Working knowledge of financial systems
- Basic understanding of Proval or similar software
- Intermediate building technical knowledge would be desirable
