Birmingham area/ hybrid

Monday to Friday/ 35 hours

As a Development Officer, your main responsibilities will be:

  • To Provide administrative support to the head of Development and keep internal records up to date
  • Create and process all purchase orders and deal with any queries
  • Set up and attend monthly cashflow meetings
  • Set up monthly meetings, producing agendas/ taking notes etc
  • Draft press articles for approval
  • Deal with social media platforms and press related releases
  • Arrange signing of contracts and maintain contract register
  • Manage defect queries and produce scheme out turn reports
  • Provide support during audits

To be successful as a Development Officer, you will need experience in:

  • Working within a development department
  • Working knowledge of financial systems
  • Basic understanding of Proval or similar software
  • Intermediate building technical knowledge would be desirable
