Location: Oldbury, West Midlands
Salary: £40K + Work Van and Fuel card if made permanent.
Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday: 2PM – 10PM | Friday: 12PM – 8PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (Permanent after 3 months for the right fit)

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an excellent opportunity to join Europe’s largest steelmanufacturer in Oldbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs across industrial machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in electrical systems, including control panels, motors, and other equipment.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all systems are running efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in emergency repairs to minimize production disruption.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a similar industrial environment (steel manufacturing, heavy industry, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and fault-finding techniques.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualifications.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work shifts (Monday – Thursday: 2PM – 10PM, Friday: 2PM – 8PM).
