GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Project Support Assistant to our public sector client based in Oldbury. The Project Support Assistant will support the administration of a new pilot scheme. They will ensure that information held within the pilot scheme is accurate and consistent and assist with setting up new systems and processes.

Main Duties of the Project Support Assistant:

  • Ensure all information held within the scheme is accurate and consistent
  • Support Project Officers in setting up new systems and processes
  • Prioritise incoming post and messages and ensure that any urgent issues are escalated as appropriate
  • Maintain filing and record systems, this will include scanning and uploading documents
  • Complete all tasks, ensuring accuracy and that they are completed within the given timescales

Role Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Business Administration role
  • NVQ Level 1 or equivalent in Business Administration
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience planning and organising other people's diaries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
