Job Description
- Job Title - Food Lead Auditor
- Contract - Permanent
- Hours - Monday to Friday
- Location - UK Field Based
Main Purposes of the role:
- As a Food Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting professional audits in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships, multi skilled in a variety of food related standards
- Primarily for BRCGS & FSSC/ISO22000 along with non GFSI related standards and any 2nd Party Customised Audit requests.
- To assist in business development as required and to provide specific technical support to expand the Company’s capability to offer valued services to customers
- To write procedures and guidance documents as appropriate
- To undertake training of auditors and clients.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- First degree, or tertiary equivalent - i.e. BA/BSc, HND in Food or food related discipline
- Lead Auditor Qualification
- Recognised HACCP (minimum of 2 days duration with examination)
- BRC Understanding Requirements Courses with Merit pass
- Degree in packaging or EQIPT qualification (or benchmarked equivalent)
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years work experience in positions with significant Technical Manager or QA responsibility in food or food packaging or equivalent food industries.
- Approved GSFI auditor
- Experience in management systems auditing against recognised GSFI standards
- Experience of working under own initiative and in planning and prioritising workloads
- Lead Auditor Qualification
