Job Responsibilities
As a Primary School Supply Teacher, your role will entail:
- Preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
- Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils' progress and development
- Researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devising and writing new curriculum materials
- Managing pupils behaviour in the classroom and on school premises
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- A patient and resilient personality, with a flexible approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A current DBS or willingness to obtain one.
