- Experienced in CNC Turning necessary, Siemens controls would be advantageous
- Experience with manual lathe work and general Toolroom machining methods
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professional
- Responsible for achieving own key objectives, as well as the objectives of the team
- Able to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Computer literate and able to communicate and record information effectively
- Operate Toolroom equipment to a high standard
- Operate a Forklift Truck and Overhead Crane to assist with daily duties whilst also enabling tooling to be delivered to production – training will be provided
- Ensure as part of the team, manufacture is covered in a timely manner so that try-out dates are met
- Ensure as part of the team, breakdowns are covered in a timely manner so that production downtime is kept to a minimum
- Aim for a “right first time” approach to all work carried out
- Liaise with contractors/suppliers where required and when additional support is needed, including agreeing timescales and costs
- Maintain awareness and ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation, housekeeping standards and Company rules and procedures
- Follow verbal or written instructions and work to set out procedures
- Seek continuous improvement related to the business KPI’s and as part of the team, contribute towards improved performance and the overall improvement of the business.
