A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive Primary School in Oldbury on a part-time basis. The role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey.
Role Details:
Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Morning sessions Classroom-based TA and Afternoon group interventions
Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to KS1 pupils.
Support children with their learning and development within the classroom environment.
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions in the afternoons to support children who need additional help.
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant, ideally within KS1.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and early years development.
A passionate, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
Strong communication skills, both with children and staff.

Minimum rate of pay - GBP85
Hours - 8:30 - 3:30(term time only)
Supply TA Experience, Training, and Qualifications
It is essential that you have Teaching assistant experience and curriculum knowledge, along with a relevant qualification Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/TA
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references.
