If yes, we want to hear from you!Annual Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 DOEWeekly Hours: 7.30am to 4pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30am to 12.30pm FriThe role of the Production Manager is to have a full understanding of roll forming and its associated processes for the construction industry and have a full understanding of the Company’s manufacturing systems.You will be required to communicate and work with other departments including technical, sales, transport, quality and health and safety.Person Specification:
  • Full understanding of our manufacturing systems and be capable of operating in a ‘Kanban & just in time’ environment
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Be well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professional
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail; accuracy is paramount
  • Responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Be consistent with workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Be flexible with tasks/duties so that adequate cover is available if ever required
  • Be able to communicate at all levels and have a “can do” attitude
Your responsibilities:
  • Organise and manage all aspects of production
  • Understand the needs of customers and adjust production to suit
  • Ensure Company health and safety requirements are complied with and improved
  • Ensure Company personnel requirements are achieved
  • Ensure continuous improvement and all production KPIs are maintained and improved
  • Ensure working hours match production requirements
  • Ensure tooling requirements are maintained and achieved
  • Assist with new product and process development
  • Ensure maintenance requirements for plant and equipment are achieved and attend technical / maintenance meetings
  • Communicate and work with the Production Director and other departments as required.
