Job Summary:
The Site Manager will oversee HVAC and renewable energy installations in social housing projects within the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management within the construction industry, particularly in renewable technologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate the site team, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, local authorities, and community stakeholders to address concerns and provide project updates.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and environmental policies, particularly those related to renewable technologies.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on HVAC and renewable energy projects.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH) are preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, renewable energy technologies, and eco-friendly building practices.
