Person specification:
  • Time served Mechanical Engineer with a number of years’ experience in manufacturing
  • Minimum City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 in mechanical engineering
  • Good fitting skills with the ability to weld and fabricate an advantage but not essential, along with hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding experience
  • Responsible for PPM
  • Experience of planned maintenance and continuous improvement/lean manufacturing
  • Well organised, self-motivated and capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Must be eligible and able to prove you can work in the UK.
Experience / Qualifications:
  • 3 plus years in Maintenance in a Heavy Industrial environment
  • City & Guilds - Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
