About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Reactive Works Planner to join our fast-paced team. This role is perfect for someone with real-time scheduling or planning experience, who thrives in a dynamic environment and can effectively prioritise, coordinate, and manage urgent maintenance tasks.

You'll be responsible for scheduling emergency repairs, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring our engineers respond to jobs quickly and effectively. If you have a background in maintenance coordination, workforce planning, or reactive scheduling, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Scheduling and prioritising reactive maintenance jobs, ensuring urgent issues are dealt with efficiently.
  • Coordinating engineers and resources to maximise response times and minimise downtime.
  • Communicating updates to engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing resources such as tools, materials, and workforce availability to ensure jobs are completed without delays.
  • Problem-solving any scheduling conflicts or unexpected challenges, implementing contingency plans when needed.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in real-time scheduling, planning, or coordination (ideally in maintenance, engineering, logistics, or a similar reactive environment).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
