About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our vibrant primary school community in Halesowen. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our pupils' emotional, social, and academic development, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, addressing individual learning needs and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, offering feedback to both students and parents.
  • Support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, implementing strategies to promote well-being and engagement.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable but not essential.
