Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and proactive HLTA to join a thriving primary school in Oldbury, providing support across the primary age range.This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, covering classes across the primary age range as required. You will take on the responsibility of leading and managing whole-class groups, delivering lessons, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for all students. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA looking to take on greater responsibility and make a real impact in the classroom.Key Responsibilities: · Lead and manage whole class teaching across different year groups as required. · Support the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons from EYFS to KS2. · Provide targeted support for students with varying needs, including SEN and EAL. · Assist in maintaining a positive and effective learning environment. · Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive space for all students. · Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher. · Work collaboratively with the wider school team to ensure student success.The Ideal Candidate: · HLTA qualification (or equivalent) with experience working in a primary school setting. · Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum across all age groups. · Confidence in leading and managing full class groups. · Excellent communication and organisational skills. · Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. · A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting student learning.HLTA Experience, Training and Qualifications It is essential that you have relevant qualifications and experience taking full class groups in either a permanent or supply cover role. Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
