Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our local Oldbury based client who are seeking a Quality Technician to work at both their Oldbury and Dudley site. The role will be 8 hour days on rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am.

Duties and tasks will include:

• To maintain the Company’s quality management system.

• Day to day quality functions

• Ensuring manufactured product is compliant to required standards.

• To determine and implement continuous improvements.

• Investigation, management and close out of internal and external nonconformities.

• Continually reviewing effectiveness of raw material supply.

• Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

• Identification and management of business risks.

• Managing change throughout the Company.

• Ensuring compliance with latest standards, regulations, and legal requirements.

• Auditing internal external.

• Inspection duties.

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

• Experience of working in a Quality Department

• Experience of operating a QMS within a large manufacturing facility

• Materials testing / metallurgy of mild steel and stainless-steel products would be an advantage.

• Experience of automotive supply an advantage, such as PPAP
