We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing facility. If you have experience in quality management, materials testing, and problem-solving, this is your chance to make an impact!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in a large manufacturing facility
- Conduct materials testing and understand metallurgy of mild steel and stainless steel (advantageous)
- Support automotive supply processes, including PPAP (desirable)
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proactively resolve quality issues
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians while fostering a team-oriented environment
- Analyze problems and provide innovative solutions to improve processes
- Communicate effectively with teams, customers, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a Quality Department within a large manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of QMS and materials testing (steel and stainless steel)
- Familiarity with PPAP and automotive supply (desirable)
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and continuously improve
- Computer literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A current driving license is required
