Are you an Estimator with a background in M&E looking for a client-focused role where you'll be play a pivotal part in the pre-construction phase of design and build projects, with excellent earning opportunities to reward your expertise?

Do you want to work for a well-established, rapidly growing and highly regarded M&E Consultancy, working within an expert team providing exceptional services on new builds, fit-outs, building refurbishments, or plant replacement projects in a plethora of sectors from healthcare to logistics?

This role would suit an Estimator or similar, with M&E experience, looking to join a growing consultancy with an unbeatable reputation and exciting growth plans, which you will be an active part of.

The Role:

  • To produce prime cost plans incorporating to all scope requirements
  • To estimate preliminary costs required to execute the projects
  • Respond to tender queries, prepare, and submit competitive tender packages and pricing from in accordance with the clients' and subcontractors' requirements
  • Arrange enquiry documents of subcontractors to ensure the estimation is accurate and competitive.
  • Drawing 'take offs' - take off quantities from drawings
  • Participate in the design development to assess buildability, materials, innovation, and cost effectiveness of proposals
  • Produce costings with clarity on itemised prime costs and applied markups and margin
  • Estimate materials, plant, prelims, and labour to provide complete priced cost plans

The Person:

  • Previous experience handling / estimating M&E projects
  • Relevant Estimator / Design qualifications
  • Full UK Driving License
