Role Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
  • Managing a portfolio of clients including business owners, HNWIs, and SMEs
  • Providing advice on a variety of tax matters including capital allowances, CGT, IHT, and employment taxes
  • Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
  • Identifying planning opportunities and assisting with advisory projects
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice
  • Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work as required

Candidate Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a tax or mixed accounts/tax role within an accountancy firm
  • Studying towards ATT or CTA (or planning to start soon)
  • Familiarity with personal and/or corporate tax compliance
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with software such as Xero, Sage, or CCH is a bonus
