Your new role

Contract Officer -Housing Industry

North Manchester. Full-Time / 35 hours per week/ 5 days a week/ 3 days office based £20.28 plus per hour plus holiday pay Temporary for 3-4 months. Immediate Start.

The full-time working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday and office based 3 days a week.The post holder will be a key administrative point of contact within the contracts team and will ensure that all necessary administration and compliance covering the contracts team is scheduled and actioned appropriately.

Key duties of the role are to support the delivery of planned work, updating records and the internal database with compliance checks when and as required. You will be dealing with internal and external contractors and potentially housing tenants. However, the main focus of the role is to ensure that all work is planned and recorded on the internal database.

You will be able to gather information, diagnose problems, draw logical conclusions and suggest practical solutions. Ideally, you will have experience of complex data analysis, ideally using advanced Excel features such as pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros.

In addition, working knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to asset compliance with social housing would be advantageous. This dynamic and demanding role will involve considerable flexibility. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be an experienced administrator with working experience of excel and data information. Previous experience in a similar role and systems experience is essential, along with a background in social housing.
