Description
- Ensure quality compliance and improve quality systems within the engineering and manufacturing department.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to uphold the highest quality standards.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.
- Support the production team in maintaining day-to-day operations.
- Compile and represent quality reports to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality training programs.
Profile
A successful 'Quality Engineer' should have:
- An educational background in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of various quality tools and methodologies (PPAP, 8D and 5 Y's)
- To have a background in CNC Machining and CMM inspection
- Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
- A strong understanding of the manufacturing process; converting raw materials and components into finished goods.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in implementing quality control systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
