Due to continued business growth, we are looking for an experienced P6 Planner to join a well-established ManufacturingEngineering business with a long history and exciting plans for business expansion.
As part of the growth plans, they are looking to strengthen theteam and appoint an experiencedP6 Planner to working in conjuction with the wider projects team to effectivley schedule programmes to aid with resource and workload planning.The role will be based in Oldham and will be responsible for production and maintenance of all overarching schedules for activities for the major projects and prospective new work within our high-level business sectors.
Interested candidates must have a demonstrable background working with Primavera P6 and have an understanding of NEC requirements. Exposure to working within manufacturing engineering would be highly advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities
- Work closely alongside our Project Managers & sales team to produce schedules and maintain on a weekly basis.
- Add new projects with milestones for key steps.
- Maintain a balance of projects starting and finishing each week.
- Update status of each project and show completions of key steps.
- Work with production schedulers to ensure critical milestones are met in a fast-paced environment with tight delivery dates.
- Maintaining accurate records of production work and results.
- Deliver high-quality programs within specified timelines.
- Compile reports on factors related to projects schedules to assist in the decision-making process.
Skills and Experience required
- Experience in Primavera P6
- Strong background in Project Planning
- Knoweldge of NEC standards
- Strong technical skills
- Experience of programme validation
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
