We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 driver for our customer based in Oldham (0L9 Postcode). This will be on a 13 week temp to perm. Immediate start!
What we are looking for:
- Category C+E Entitlement.
- Full & Valid CPC.
- Full & Valid Digi.
- No more than 6 points.
- Excellent communication skills.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
- Dealing with customers in a polite manner.
- There will be a regular requirement for overnight stays throughout the year.
- Youll be articulate and organised, with a good level of attention to detail and accuracy.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in the movement of Plant or Powered Access equipment with IPAF or ADR certification desirable. The company operates a mix of flat and step frame trailers, a vehicle mounted forklift license is also desirable. Training will be provided to the suitable candidate if the candidate does not hold this qualification.
- Youll be articulate and organised, with a good level of attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong commitment to and awareness of Health and Safety as youll be required to comply with H&S legislation and the customers health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- A flexible and adaptable approach as you will be required to travel extensively around the country with, regularly staying away from home.
