Are you ready to take your pensions expertise to the next level? Our client, a leading local authority, is seeking a dedicated Senior Pensions Officer to join their vibrant team in Chadderton. This is an exciting temporary opportunity running from February 25, 2025, to May 9, 2025, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from 19.17 to 21.04.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the Payroll Lead to ensure smooth pension processes and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Provide support and technical advice to Pension Officers and stakeholders, ensuring a timely pension service.
- Manage pension work requests and ensure all notifications are processed accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory returns and support system developments for payroll and pensions.
- Liaise with customers to resolve pension queries and maintain accurate data records.
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive local authority pensions officer experience is a must!
- Proven track record in pensions administration and compliance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with pension systems like MHR iTrent and Altair is a plus!
