The Company:  A highly successful specialist technology business, established 30 years. serving UK and export markets and recognised with many industry and national trade awards.

The Role:  A full content marketing remit – initially at Exec’ level but with ultimate Manager potential - To supervise and generate a diverse variety of website content, social media posts and blogs about the company’s leading-edge products, trade successes, case-studies, exhibitions and staff updates etc.   Besides the content creation the remit also includes item scheduling (Hootsuite etc), some basic layout/design (Canva etc), SEO coordination and liaison with the network of overseas agents who feed stories and other material for publication

The Ideal Candidate will be an experienced and successful content marketer, ideally with a minimum two years’ experience working in either industrial, engineering, manufacturing or technology product markets. Most likely (but not necessarily) a graduate in English, journalism, PR or perhaps digital media,  you will need to demonstrate a genuine appetite to ‘own’ this important role and develop it in your own image.  You’ll be given the opportunity to bring your personality and enthusiasm to this highly story-friendly technology and product-range.  You will have no shortage of interesting material to write and blog about.

This is a potentially career-defining opportunity with a dynamic and robust company. The position is initially office-based, adjacent to the M60, easily accessible from north/south Manchester and West Yorkshire. Some UK and international travel will occasionally be required.
