We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Homes Manager for a 2 bed children’s residential home located in close to Oldham. You will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the homes, supporting children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities, and social/emotional challenges.

Our client is a not-for-profit interest company that provides wrap around support services and intervention for children, young people and families who have an outstanding reputation in their field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of one residential home (each with single occupancy beds).
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and provide a safe, supportive environment.
  • Willingness to complete OFSTED Registration.
  • Oversee and develop care plans for young people in collaboration with staff and professionals.
  • Lead and manage staff, ensuring mandatory training and effective performance.
  • Promote positive relationships with families, social workers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain safeguarding, child protection, and welfare standards.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the home, including occasional evening and weekend work.

Skills & Experience:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in children’s residential care, with 2 years in a management role.
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (Or Equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted compliance and care standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
