Position Type: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Your Role:
As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you will:
- Manufacture components according to production schedules and technical drawings.
- Ensure production priorities and deadlines are achieved to meet customer requirements.
- Solve problems as they arise and maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide training, demonstrations, and supervision to trainees if required.
- Support machine builds and ensure health & safety compliance at all times.
What You Need:
Qualifications:
- GCSE or NVQ Level 3 (Skilled Status, time-served)
- Willingness to study further (NVQ Level 4 or higher)
Skills & Experience:
- Manual milling and CNC machining (e.g., horizontal borers, machining centres)
- Ability to write and troubleshoot CNC programs (Fanuc & Heidenhain control systems)
- Competent in reading engineering drawings and working to precise specifications
- Strong attendance, timekeeping, and attention to detail
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize daily tasks
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Flexible, able to work under pressure, and adaptable to business needs
- Strong housekeeping and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
