Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number of CNC Turners to join our prestigious client near Oldham on a permanent basis.
The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation.
Successful candidates will be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
Candidates will be required to Programme, Set and Operate a number of different CNC Lathes using Fanuc OR Heidenhain controls to produce components from a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Mild Steel, Brass and other exotics.
Candidates with experience using Mazatrol or Siemens controls would also be considered.
3 shift rotation - 6AM-2PM/ 2PM - 10PM / 10PM - 6AM
35% Shift premium applied.
Job Description :
Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc/Heidenhain controls machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
Aid where required in the fitting department
Overhead crane operating experience
Candidate Required Skills
Time-served with demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes working to very tight tolerances.
The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Heidenhain / Fanuc or Siemens controls
Must have experience working on a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Inconel, Brass and other exotic materials
