7.45 – 6 Monday – Thursday

8 – 5 Monday – Thursday and 8 – 1 Friday

 

My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Supervisor to join their team.

This role would suit an experienced supervisor or an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator looking to progress their career to the next level.

 

CNC Press Brake Supervisor Requirements:

- Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting. Amada preferred.

- Ideally you will have previous experience as a supervisor or will be looking for the next step up in your career

- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings

- Proficient with Microsoft office packages
- Strong knowledge of different types of metal materials and their bending characteristics
- Ability to accurately measure and use various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues

 

CNC Press Brake Supervisor Duties:

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, fold, or shape metal sheets according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine the correct machine settings and tooling requirements
- Select and install appropriate dies, punches, and other tooling components
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of the finished product
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines
