I am working with an established, growing Social Housing Contractor who operate nationally and have a great reputation and staff retention rates.

They are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is managing several work streams - two in the Oldham area, and another in the Sheffield region. Works include Kitchen and Bathroom replacements and window and door replacements to tenanted Social Housing properties.

The company are looking for an experienced candidate within Social Housing refurbishment who has a proven track record of managing kitchen and bathroom and similar schemes for a Social Housing Contractor. The successful candidate will also be a motivated leader with the ability to drive growth and ensure successful contract delivery.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational duties from inception to completion, promoting a positive health and safety culture
  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating project strategy and programming works
  • Managing the client relationship and ensuring contracts are completed in line with KPIs.
  • Line management of several Site Managers, visiting sites and ensuring each work stream is moving as expected.
  • Ensure on-site safety through risk management and risk assessment, enforcing safety procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and ensure regular communication with key contacts, reporting progress on project
  • Manage and develop reporting staff
  • Social value awareness
