Paying up to £12.00 p/hrBased in Oldham, North Manchester, our client is a successful engineering business seeking an experienced Data Entry Assistant to cover a period of sickness. This is a temporary, ongoing office-based opportunity working Monday to Friday, either 9.00 am to 5.30 pm or 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
THE JOB
As Temporary Data Entry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all new data processing tasks. You will work closely with the internal teams to facilitate seamless data management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics systems.
- Verifying and cross-checking data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with care.
- Liaising with team members to ensure data is processed in line with project timelines.
- Supporting administrative tasks, such as organising digital records and tracking data progress.
- Identifying and correcting discrepancies or inconsistencies in data entry.
THE PERSON
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong MS Office IT skills, particularly with Excel
- Previous experience using Dynamics or similar data management systems is preferred.
- A methodical and process-driven approach to work.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- A confident, professional, and approachable demeanor.
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Immediate availability and readiness to contribute from day one.
