The school and role

A primary school in Royton, are seeking an engaging and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their early years team. In return, the school can offer a friendly environment, with hardworking colleagues and a very supportive leadership team. The appointed Teaching Assistant will benefit from working alongside experienced members of staff and lots of opportunities for professional development. The successful Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. You must have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment. This is a part time role from 08:30-12:30, Mon-Fri. 

Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Have experience working in Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
