The role of the Electrical Design Engineer will involve leading the development of electrical systems, including creating and interpreting electrical drawings, technical documentation, and PLC programming. Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Expertise in generating and interpreting electrical drawings
- Control panel design experience
- PLC programming, fault finding, and modification
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience creating technical documentation
- In-depth knowledge of BS7671 standards
Preferred but not essential:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with industrial inverter drives
- Experience in hybrid power systems and solar PV design
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) creation
- Experience with project cost tracking
- Certifications: C&G 2391-52, COMPEX 14, FSEng - TV SD
- CAD skills (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
- Understanding of IEC, ISO, and EN standards
