CRP Group is seeking a skilled and motivatedElectrical Engineerto join an organisation in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and manufacturing of electrical looms and harnesses for automotive applications. You will be involved in various engineering programs, including CAD modeling and design, to ensure the efficient and reliable integration of electrical systems within our vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development of Electrical Looms and Harnesses:
    • Design and develop electrical looms and harnesses for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
    • Create detailed wiring diagrams, schematics, and component layouts for vehicle electrical systems.
    • Select and specify appropriate materials, connectors, and components for looms and harnesses.
  • CAD Design & Modeling:
    • Utilise CAD software (such as CATIA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks) to model, simulate, and optimize electrical harness designs.
    • Work with the engineering team to integrate electrical components into overall vehicle architecture.
  • Prototyping & Testing:
    • Support the prototyping process by working with cross-functional teams to create prototypes of electrical systems.
    • Conduct electrical testing and diagnostics on harnesses, looms, and related components to ensure they meet performance and safety criteria.
