Failure Analysis Engineer

A job as a Failure Analysis Engineer has urgently arisen for a global leading Semiconductor Manufacturing company, based in Oldham, Manchester.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Failure Analysis Engineer to join my client, based in Oldham, Manchester who will play a pivotal role in performing electrical and physical analysis on IC and discrete products across their life cycle. You will be working to diagnose semiconductor products failures through root cause analysis techniques as well as failure analysis tools such as SEM, EDX and X-Rays.

The Failure Analysis Engineer based in Oldham, Manchester, will ideally have experience across;

• Experience in a range of test instrumentation such as optical microscopes, probes, and curve tracers
• Identifying root cause through 8D's for semiconductor product failures
• Use of failure analysis techniques such as SEM, TEM, OBIRCH and EMMI
