School Cover Supervisors, Oldham Schools, Start ASAPCover SupervisorYour new companyHays are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working with various secondary schools in the Oldham area. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and have a proven track record of working with children. We have full-time and part-time opportunities currently available to start asap or work flexibly, offering daily supply to local schools.Your new role

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
  • Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.
  • Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of education.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working with young people/leading large groups of kids, in schools, or voluntary sports coaching, community centres etc
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Confidence and good communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding
  • Previous cover supervisor experience (Desirable)
