Duties & responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Monitor aged debt reports, proactively identifying and resolving overdue accounts.
  • Establish, review, and enforce credit limits and terms in line with company policies.
  • Oversee the escalation of credit-related issues and negotiate resolutions where necessary.
  • Evaluate current systems and processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate workflows.
  • Drive the implementation of system enhancements and new tools to support efficient credit control operations.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in credit control, with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, collections processes, and financial controls.
  • Systems-savvy with a track record of implementing and improving credit control systems.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives, including process reengineering and technology implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams.
