The role of the Finance Business Partner is to help drive the performance of the business through successful management of the day to day and long term commercial activities.
Client Details
My client are a circa £30 million turnover Manufacturing business who are in the Top 10 globally market leaders in their field. Owned by a bigger Group that have recently injected cash into the business to extend the production capabilities.
Description
- Develop strong working relationships with the Executive and Commercial teams and become a trusted advisor
- Manage budget & reforecast timetable and provide support to Executive and Commercial Team throughout the process.
- Produce budget & reforecast presentation pack using specified template including P&L, P&L Bridge, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows and other supporting information and insights.
- Produce weekly cashflow forecasts and submit to Group by agreed timetables.
- Be the key day to day contact and provider of information to the Executive and Commercial teams.
- Provide guidance to the Executive and Commercial teams and have the confidence to provide constructive challenge around assumptions and forecasts.
- Be the key day to day contact and provider of information to Group Finance.
- Ensure the management accounts for each business reflect accurately the current trading position; this is achieved by working closely with Group Finance at month end.
- Produce budgets and forecasts in-line with Group timetables.
Profile
- Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA accountant with proven experience of working in a competitive fast moving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process changes.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office applications.
- Knowledge in working with ERP systems (preferably Sage Line 1000).
- Excellent communication skills both internally across distances and externally with customers.
- Ability to tailor communications to the appropriate audience.
Job Offer
A competitive salary of £60,000-£70,000 plus 10% bonus.
