Finance Manager / Oldham (hybrid) / Salary £50,000 - £55,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager / FC, to join our SME client who are a growing, privately owned business with in Oldham. Reporting directly into an ambitious MD, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations and leading a small team.

Your role will be varied and hands on, responsible for:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, managing a small team (3) and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions.
  • Producing monthly management accounts and the financial information pack
  • Budgeting, planning and forecasting
  • Producing the annual statutory accounts, corporation tax, PAYE and VAT returns
  • Ensure financial processes and internal controls are improved and implemented appropriately
  • Provide commercial analysis and MI to discuss insights and support non-financial stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Previous experience working in a similar, hands-on FM/FC role for a growing SME business.
  • Driven to develop a deep understanding of the business's commercial operations, and able to drive improvements and add value.

This role is permanent, full time, hybrid working available. 25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus other great company benefits including strong progression to an FC role!
