Your new companyOur client is a multi-academy trust with 15 schools across the Northwest and Derby and still growing. Your new roleAs the interim Regional Finance Manager you willsupport the Finance team with:
- Year-end accounting work e.g. VAT126, FixedAssets, Balance Sheet recs, audit queries etc.
- Financial management responsibilities across the Truste.g budget management, payroll allocation/reconciliation, month end processes.
- Mobilisation of new academies joining our Trustincluding due diligence.
- Review of systems and processes including theutilisation of technology.
What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), with previous experience in the education sector and have knowledge of AccessFinancials software. You will also have a strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation.What you'll get in returnYou will get a competitive day rate between £350-£450 a day. The business offers a flexible hybrid model with the availability of working from home alongside free onsite parking and would consider flexible options to suit your needs.
