FLT Counter Balance Driver 2-11

Our client, a leading manufacturer of foam and fibre products, is currently seeking a Fork Lift Truck Driver (Counter Balance) to join their team at their main production site in Oldham. The company specialises in producing a range of products from foam cushions to mattresses, and they are looking for an experienced individual to help with the distribution and preparation of goods.Key Responsibilities:* Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move and distribute goods within the warehouse and production areas.* Assist with packing and preparing goods for dispatch.* Help with Goods In/Out processes, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient stock management.* Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.Shift Details:* Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 23:00Essential Qualifications & Experience:* Valid Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck (FLT) license.* Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the foam industry.* Familiarity with Goods In/Out processes and stock management.* Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and with other departments.* Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.Desirable Skills:* Experience in packing and preparing goods for dispatch.* Knowledge of basic warehouse management systems (WMS).If you have the required experience and are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.
