Assembler - Working from Schmatic Drawings

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.00a.m. - 4.00p.m. With a 12.00p.m. Finish on a Friday (30 mins lunch)

Pay is £12.00 per hour - Pay increase after 13 weeks work.

Temporary with a view to Permanent work is a possibility.

Requires experience of working from a blue print, using hand tools and assembling pumps.

ASSEMBLER

1.Job Purpose

Preparing Components,

Building & Testing various Electro-Hydraulic, Pneumatic Control Valves, Ball & Needle Valves, Electro Power Packs for the Gas and Oil Industry

2. Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparing Electro-Hydraulic and Pneumatic components ready for assembly.
  • Building & Assembling above components into valves
  • Marking Components & finished valves to specification, ie: ATEX
  • Building valves from worksheet specifications
  • Testing components & valves
  • Sharing product & build knowledge & training where necessary

  • Operatives are responsible to their Team Leaders for undertaking operations in a safe and orderly manner. They have a legal duty not only to work in safe manner but

Also to incorporate efforts to create safe working conditions for others. Observing procedure and using safety equipment appropriate to the work operation. 3. Qualifications Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Good hand eye co-ordination and manual dexterity
  • An ability to maintain an excellent standard after many repetitions
  • Working to a deadline
