Our Client a leading provider of concrete and frames solutions Based in Chadderton are seeking an experienced Groundworks/Civils Estimator to join there team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in groundworks, civils, and infrastructure to take the next step in their career.
Groundworks/Civils Estimator Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing and estimating general groundwork, excavation work, drainage work, and minor substructure concrete works
- Assisting in preparing tender submissions and cost estimates for groundworks/civils projects
- Reviewing and understanding project plans and specifications
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing
- Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Assisting in the management of cost controls and budgets
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Ideal Groundworks/Civils Estimator:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in groundworks/civils/infrastructure estimating
- Experience with substructure concrete works, drainage, excavation, and general groundwork
- Previous experience with civils works and 278 works (not essential but advantageous)
- Ideally with some time spent working with a Main Contractor
- Subcontractor experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Clean driving license is preferred
