Parts Supervisor.
You will be working with parts and specialist materials, strategically demand planning of consignment parts and cross functions, maintaining parts levels, forecasting planning, and supervising staff.
Salary:
£34,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm Friday 8am - 2pm.
Duties:
Manage the process flow for parts arriving for production, field service, supply only, the internal material flow and despatch to the customers on time in full.
Manage people, processes, and systems to ensure material is received, controlled and distributed to all production areas in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for the efficient running of a central ordering facility with full traceability and accountability.
Take an active part in proactively planning and scheduling the journey of the sale from order through to completion.
Ordering and maintaining strict deadlines on delivery to ensure efficient thru put of Stock parts, Products and consumables.
Supervising of loading and unloading of trucks and containers using either the FLT, or by following the manual handling protocol.
QA of all goods in, reporting and managing the quality and suitability of goods in. Reporting issues to the suppliers and resolving supply chain issues.
Managing the stock levels in such a manner that ensures the efficient supply of parts both to our workshop, After Sales Service and supply only customers. Continuous review of stock levels, amending where necessary to keep within lead-time KPIs.
Ensure customers’ queries are dealt with fully and efficiently (internal and external).
Being a key player in the company’s initiative to drive down costs by continually reviewing spending on regular ancillary orders, and sourcing better value deals whenever possible.
Maintain good housekeeping of stores and despatch areas following company protocols.
Contribute to the continual improvement process through the suggestion of initiatives and implementation of agreed changes.
Hold regular meetings with the Operations Manager on stock levels and produce monthly stock status reports for the Finance Department.
Continuous review of stock levels reporting concerns to the Operations Management.
Mentoring and coaching personnel under their remit to provide uninterrupted service cover during annual/sick leave periods.
Devise, implement and lead process driven initiatives.
Parts Supervisor Requirements:
Required experience in a similar role is essential along with mentoring, coaching and supervision of staff.
You will need to be numerate, have good problem-solving skills with excellent communication both written and verbal.
Required computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, and Word in-house CRM systems the current CRM is Protean however training will be provided.
Must have good relationship building skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
An understanding of stock inventory/control, control of a parts facility is a must and be customer service focused.
You will have a high attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst prioritising workloads maintaining deadlines.
Able to adhere and implement company Health and Safety policies.
