Production Planner – 6-month FTC 

Global Food Manufacturer - Food Processing Site 

  • Site based role in Greater Manchester, Nr Oldham 

  • Later shift; starting at 13.30 or 11am, Mon- to Fri with occasional weekend overtime 

  • Salary £30,000 to £35,000 Pro Rata (depending upon your experience) 

For this position you'll need to be immediately available or on a short notice period, there is the potential for this role to become a permanent position for the right candidate!

The Role 

This role will see you; 

  • Design and implement production plans and schedules for a busy and ever-changing production operations. 

  • Manage standard operating procedures to ensure correct & timely completion of customer orders. 

  • Create work order plan for distribution. 

  • Work to reduce lead times, increase productivity and maximise output. 

  • Ensure correct labour, machine capacity and materials are in place….. 

Your Skills/ Experience 

To be considered for this position you will need; 

  • Previous production planning experience from Fresh food manufacturing, the ideal candidate will come from chilled, meat or “food to go”. 

  • Advanced Excel and MRP & ERP knowledge (ideally SAP) 

  • The ability to prioritise in a fast paced and changing environment. 

  • Advanced problem-solving skills 

  • Analytical by nature with strong data management
