SEN TA required at an Oldham Primary School (OL2)
Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a client school based in the Oldham area (OL2) for an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant. As part of the staffing team at this 'GOOD' school you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with special educational needs to reach their full potential. You will work closely with both teaching staff and the SENCo to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
This post will commence in February 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential of extension for the right candidate. To be considered, applicants will:
- Hold a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent
- Be able to form strong working relationships and create a bond of trust with pupils
- Have recent experience supporting primary aged children with Special Educational Needs and providing personal care
- Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the SENCo and parents/guardians
- Offer emotional and social support to pupils, helping them build confidence and independence
Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and relevant qualification such as Level 3 TA are essential.
