Tool Changer / Setter / moulding technician.

Undertake production colour changes and tool changes, machine startups & shutdowns. Engel, krauss, demag, B.M.B.

troubleshooting and process optimisation ensuring machines in your area are utilised to an acceptable standard.

manufacture (RFT). Ownership and accountability for cycle time conformance, scrap targets.

Basic pick and place robot usage. Sepro, krauss, A.T.M. Training can be provided.

log material usage, changeovers, and downtime, and identify and implementing process changes to improve production output and quality.

Deliver agreed manufacturing targets through clear communication of works order expectations, co-ordinating and enforcing procedures in line with agreed policies, and business derivatives. Ensuring we operate within a safe, clean, organised, and efficient environment.

Ensure all work areas and stations are up to date with relevant documentation and are kept in a neat and tidy manner.

Support the continual development of employees in your work area, including identifying training needs and promoting teamwork.

Actively support Production Team Leaders / Operatives by providing technical intervention to optimise the process in the event of quality issues to minimise waste/scrap generation.

Liaise with other teams / departments to ensure efficiency and safety. Ensure all work orders are achieved.

experience

ideally 5+ years in injection moulding.

Good understanding of Polymers/materials/ancillaries associated with the Injection Moulding process.

Good organisational skills

ideally be able to train others but not essential.
