Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: 25k - 39k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking a knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor to cover contracts in the North West of England. It would be beneficial to have access to the M6 for easier travel to client sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and a keen enthusiasm for the industry. Our client can be open minded with regards to experience, as they can offer fantastic training for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Water Hygiene experience who would be looking to train into Risk Assessing. Salaries and benefits are competitive.

The role will involve travel to: Oldham, Rochdale, Manchester, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Knutsford, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Liverpool, Bootle, Formby, Southport, Wigan, St Helens, Ormskirk, Chorley, Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, Blackpool, Southport, Crewe, Macclesfield, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor for a Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit
- Ideally will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessing
- Excellent understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Able to produce bespoke and detailed assessment reports
- Comfortable using IT software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite
- It would support applications to have hands-on water hygiene experience, but this is not essential

The Role:
- Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems
- Producing detailed reports, including highlighted risks and recommendations for remedial works
- Creating site-specific plans and schematic drawings
- Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss report findings
- Travelling in accordance with company requirements
- Ensuring to work in line with agreed timescales and industry compliance
