Catering Assistant
Location: Oldham OL1, Greater Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a school environment, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Assist with washing up and general cleaning duties in the kitchen.
- Help with the setting up and clearing away of the dining area.
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and maintain an awareness of food allergies and dietary requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role is preferred but not essential.
- Basic food hygiene certificate is an advantage, but training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- A commitment to providing high-quality meals in a school environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
