Powder Coating Operative
Location: Greenfield, Oldham (Must live within a commutable distance to OL3)
Salary: £11.75 basic hourly rate, plus £1.10 powder coating premium per hour and £1.10 late shift premium
Hours: 38 hours per week
-Monday to Thursday: 13:45 – 22:00 (30-minute unpaid break)
Friday: 12:30 – 19:30 (30-minute paid break)

Role Overview:
As part of our growth journey, we are looking for an experienced Powder Coating Operative. Reporting to the Production Supervisor (Powder Coating), you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working late shifts with potential overtime. Your expertise in powder coating and ability to meet deadlines are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts using chemical tanks before powder coating.
- Hang and unhang parts efficiently.
- Execute high-quality powder coating, maintaining our standards.
- Spray powder to the correct thickness, working with a variety of products from extrusions to large surfaces.
- Work effectively with the powder coating team.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Proven experience with manual spraying systems.
- Proficiency in preparing parts for powder coating.
- Keen eye for quality and detail.
- Strong team player with the ability to meet targets.
- Punctuality and commitment to the shift pattern.
- Reside within a commutable distance to Oldham, OL3.
