We are seeking a dedicated Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a knack for problem-solving and a strong manufacturing background-ideally in the FMCG industry. The perfect candidate will have a deep commitment to maintaining high standards and improving operational efficiency.

Description

  • Implementing routine maintenance procedures and ensuring all machinery is up to standard.
  • Quickly diagnosing and repairing any mechanical faults or malfunctions in machinery.
  • Advising on potential improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide on-site support for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control systems issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborating with the Production team to solve complex issues.
  • Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
  • Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentice/s
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in engineering and manufacturing processes in the FMCG industry.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A formal qualification in Engineering or a related field-ideally apprentice trained.
  • Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry/Manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the engineering and manufacturing industry.
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining and improving machinery efficiency.
  • Driving license (occasinally travel to other local sites)
