This Senior Marketing Executive role is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the world’s best-known brands across the Gift & Home sectors.

Overview of role:

  • Manages the proactive creation and definition of UK and international brand marketing materials in both digital and print/ traditional formats.
  • Proactively researches appropriate new marketing, advertising and promotional initiatives in line with best practice and market changes to deliver our company sales strategy in the digital climate then appropriately costs them and builds business cases and plans for their roll out and delivery across the business.
  • Manages and defines programmes and projects across internal and external people, departments and agencies/ companies to deliver a fully signed off marketing strategy and manages the sign off with the Creative Director and the Board.
  • Supports all of our sales channels, especially the independents with marketing tools to sustain and improve our customer service and ultimately sales performance across web, tradeshow and in person channels.
  • Liaison with the Merchandising and PD team to assess stock levels and SKU count within ranges to determine and action product launches and disseminate launch materials across all sales channels.
  • Defines and manages all necessary sales events (excluding tradeshows) and communications so that all sales teams are informed and sufficiently prepared for customer engagement on our brands.
  • Manages thorough analysis of brand performance, market conditions and market opportunities to define the target market and the appropriate tools needed to engage them for each brand.
  • Manages the assessment, coaching, training and development of the staff within the marketing function
  • Creates and continually updates a toolkit of centralised marketing resources to be used across the business and customer base to deliver brand performance
  • Manages all external Public Relations activities from the creation of copy and editorial to the positive networking of key industry publications and people that can deliver brand growth opportunities

Experience Required:

  • Marketing based Degree or qualified marketeer
  • Experience managing marketing of brands in a consumer product design office/ studio
  • Significant experience in the development of digital marketing strategies and B2C marketing strategies using social media and other digital platforms.
  • Strong External network/ access to media and pr professionals and engagement channels
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with the Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiarity and use of marketing, project management and CRM tools such as Gorkana, Salesforce.com, Marcomm Central or any others suited to a Brand led marketing and PR function.
